Policy Dialogues Brazil 2027

Climate resilience is a central priority on both the Dutch and Brazilian national agendas. Given the accelerating pace of climate change and the growing uncertainty of extreme weather events, joining forces to address shared challenges has become essential. Recent discussions with the Brazilian Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA), the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development (MIDR), and the Ministry of Cities (MCID) highlighted the clear added value of bilateral knowledge exchange - specifically focused on translating climate resilience into actionable policy guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
